This workshop offers participants the unique opportunity to explore the connection between music, song and healing through the rhythm of the Colombian joyful drum.
Guided by expert facilitators in music and sound therapy, musicians who have played alongside traditional Colombian masters such as Ceferina Banquéz, Nelda Piña, and Herederos de Petrona Martínez, on their European tours in recent years, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of traditional singing and the rhythms of the Colombian «joyful drum» (Tambor Alegre).
In addition, the voice will be explored as an instrument of expression and healing, allowing participants to discover their own voice and release emotions through singing.
Throughout the workshop, an atmosphere of respect, community and mutual support will be fostered, where participants will feel safe to explore their creativity and connect with their inner selves through music and rhythm.
Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and reflections, creating a space for collective learning and personal growth.
